Workshop 24th June: Engaging Readers

I will be holding my final workshop in Beijing on Sunday 24th June, from 4pm to 6.30pm, at Grinders, near exit B of Shuangjing subway station.

The workshop will look at how fiction writers can use narrative structure, characterisation, and what I think of as “camerawork” to engage readers. It will be based around discussion and practical tips about the craft of writing. There will be no writing exercises.

We will be completing a writing exercise, sharing our work and offering each other constructive but robust feedback.
